'Straight A' Student Earns Bachelors Degree Three Years After Becoming U.S. Citizen
At the age of two, Honors student Barbara Figueredo moved to the U.S. from Venezuela after her family left the country due to the political turmoil that continues today. Coming to America and learning English at a young age made her want to pursue an Education degree.

Audrey Brandt has been selected for this year's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship Program. Audrey is a marine biology major with a minor in anthropology at the USF St. Petersburg campus.
